The Mather Mansion & Grounds at Radley Run
Tour Samuel Painter’s 1770 Mansion House and Barn (the
clubhouse) on the sprawling grounds of Radley Run Country Club,
which was part of the 1777 Battle of the Brandywine. Stroll the
grounds visiting the Lye House ruins, and the Kennels and
Huntsman’s House. Learn about these significant components of
the property’s early 20th century transformation from a working
dairy farm to a county estate, which headquartered the county’s
most prestigious fox hunt. An optional BBQ dinner is offered for
$15. Please make dinner reservations when you call to join the
walking tour.
